Semi-classical approximation to density of vibrational energy levels

Abstract

An expression for the level density for n harmonic oscillators at energies where the semi-classical level density is a fair approximation is provided. The density of vibrational energy levels is given for CHCl/sub 3/, CH/ sub 3/Cl, C/sub 3/H/sub 6/, an d C/sub 3/D/sub 6/. (C.E.S.)
