Measurement of<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:msub><mml:mi>ν</mml:mi><mml:mi>μ</mml:mi></mml:msub></mml:math>-induced charged-current neutral pion production cross sections on mineral oil at<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:msub><mml:mi>E</mml:mi><mml:mi>ν</mml:mi></mml:msub><mml:mo>∈</mml:mo><mml:mn>0.5</mml:mn><mml:mo>–</mml:mo><mml:mn>2.0</mml:mn><mml:mtext> </mml:mtext><mml:mtext> </mml:mtext><mml:mi>GeV</mml:mi></mml:math>

Using a custom 3-\ifmmode \check{C}\else \v{C}\fi{}erenkov ring fitter, we report cross sections for ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\mu}}$-induced charged-current single ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ production on mineral oil (${\mathrm{CH}}_{2}$) from a sample of 5810 candidate events with 57% signal purity over an energy range of 0.5--2.0 GeV. This includes measurements of the absolute total cross section as a function of neutrino energy, and flux-averaged differential cross sections measured in terms of ${Q}^{2}$, ${\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ kinematics, and ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ kinematics. The sample yields a flux-averaged total cross section of $(9.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}{0.3}_{\mathrm{stat}}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}{1.5}_{\mathrm{syst}})\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}39}\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{cm}}^{2}/{\mathrm{CH}}_{2}$ at mean neutrino energy of 0.965 GeV.
