Creating Subscription Agent/Client Relationships in the Emerging Serials Environment

Abstract Working with a service vendor is different from buying a physical product-the client and the vendor are investing in a relationship that has to be developed over time. Following the workshop leaders' discussion of issues of concern during a transition, attendees explored the practical aspect of this evolution, using scenarios that look at the human perspective as well as technological considerations.
