Chemistry and the Linkages between Air Quality and Climate Change

Climate change and air pollution are critical environmental
\nissues both in the here and now and for the coming decades. While the focus of this Review will not be on the mitigation
\noptions, it is important to recognize that the sources and
\nphysical and chemical processes that link air quality and
\nclimate have impacts and implications beyond atmospheric
\nchemistry in the broader context of decision-making and
\nscience−policy. That said, the focus of this Review will be the
\natmospheric properties, processes, and chemistry, including
\ninformation on the emission sources that lead to the linkages
\nbetween air pollution and climate change and the associated
\nfeedback effects.
