Neutrons from the Disintegration of Phosphorus by Deuterons

The neutron spectrum at 0\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} and 90\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} from the ${\mathrm{P}}^{31}(d,n){\mathrm{S}}^{32}$ reaction has been investigated using nuclear emulsions. The energies of the excited states in ${\mathrm{S}}^{32}$ are 0.5, 1.5, 2.2, 2.7, 3.3, 3.8, 4.1, 4.5, 4.9, 5.2, and 5.5-Mev, each with an uncertainty of about \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.1-Mev.
