Evaporation of Neutral Strange Particles in<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mover><mml:mrow><mml:mi>p</mml:mi></mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mo>―</mml:mo></mml:mrow></mml:mover></mml:mrow></mml:mrow></mml:math>-Ta at 4 GeV/<i>c</i>

The reaction $\stackrel{-}{p}+\mathrm{Ta}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{V}^{0}+X$ (${V}^{0}=\ensuremath{\Lambda}, \stackrel{-}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}, or {K}_{s}^{0}$) at 4 GeV/c has been studied by comparing with the results in $\stackrel{-}{p}p$ interaction. Strong enhancement of $\ensuremath{\Lambda}$ production was observed, while $\stackrel{-}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}$ production is suppressed. The $\frac{\stackrel{-}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}$ production ratio is obtained as (2.0 \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{} 1.0) \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$. $\ensuremath{\Lambda}$ reveals evaporationlike behavior with a nuclear temperature of 97 MeV. Evaporationlike behavior with a temperature of 135 MeV, but via a short-range process, was observed also in ${K}_{s}^{0}$ production.
