Effect of Omeprazole on the Outcome of Endoscopically Treated Bleeding Peptic Ulcers Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Multicentre Study

We found a beneficial effect of intravenous omeprazole in severe ulcer haemorrhage, with a reduction in the number of operations, in endoscopic treatments, and in the duration and severity of bleeding.
