Transformer reactance calculations with digital computers

SINCE one of the important features of a transformer is its series or leakage impedance, improvements in the calculation of this quantity are always searched for. In power transformers this impedance is almost all formed by its reactive component so that the accuracy of the impedance calculation hinges on the accuracy of the leakage reactance calculation.
