Fetal congestive heart failure: correlation of Tei-Index and Cardiovascular-Score

Abstract

Hydrops fetalis is associated with biventricular dysfunction and congestive heart failure. Tei-index correlates with CV score obtained within two weeks of delivery or intrauterine death. Tei-index may be useful in the serial assessment of myocardial dysfunction in the fetus with hydrops.
