The Density Spectrum of the Extensive Cosmic-Ray Showers of the Air

The paper describes measurements performed at 2200 meters above sea level for the purpose of studying the density of particles in the extensive air showers. From the results obtained, one finds that the dependence of the number of showers on the density can be expressed over a wide range by an exponential low.
