Polymer Networks Combining Controlled Drug Release, Biodegradation, and Shape Memory Capability

A triple functional polymer network system that combines shape-memory capability, biodegradability, and drug release is developed. The choice of network structure and switching segment prevent that drug incorporation substantially changes the thermal and mechanical properties as well as the shape-memory functionality (see recovery curves).
