The Viscosity of NaCl and KCl Solutions in the Range 25–50°C

Abstract The paper contains the results of measurements of the viscosity of NaCl and KCl solutions along several isotherms (20, 25, 30, 40, 50°C) and over a range of molalities up to about saturation. The measurements were performed on a relative basis with respect to water in an Ostwald‐type viscometer and checked in an Ubbelohde‐type viscometer. The accuracy was one of ±0.1%.
