Deformation-and fracture-induced acoustic emission in rocks

The informative parameters and the behavior of the acoustic emission that accompanies the deformation and fracture of rock samples under various conditions of mechanical loading, thermal action, and humidification are considered. The main directions of the development of models for the acoustic emission in geological materials are analyzed.
