Abstract

Abstract “Collision Induced Dissociation/Mass analyzed Ion Kinetic Energy” (CID/MIKE ) spectrometry is applied to study the structure of cations generated by the chemical ionisation of hydroxypyridines and related compounds. The method described allow, in many cases, the determination of tautomeric structures in the gas phase.
