Some factors in the production of low tension glaucoma.

Also of interest is the observation of Suda and Abe (I964) that the glaucoma-like scotomata produced by bulbar compression appear at lower intraocular pressures than in normal subjects. These observations do much to explain why simple tonometry and related tests have failed to provide an accurate index of the incidence of clinical glaucoma.
