Levodopa <scp>I</scp>s a <scp>D</scp>ouble‐<scp>E</scp>dged <scp>S</scp>word for <scp>B</scp>alance and <scp>G</scp>ait in <scp>P</scp>eople <scp>W</scp>ith <scp>P</scp>arkinson's <scp>D</scp>isease

The observed spectrum of l-dopa responsiveness in balance and gait measures suggests that multiple neural circuits control balance and gait. Many of the negative effects of l-dopa may be directly or indirectly caused by dyskinesia.
