Synthesis of β-hydroxy-1,4-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles catalyzed by copper ferrite nanoparticles in tap water using click chemistry

A novel one pot synthesis of β-hydroxy-1,4-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles has been developed by using CuFe₂O₄ nanoparticles. This protocol involves easily recyclable catalyst in water and avoids the handling of azides as they are generated <italic>in situ</italic>.
