On the Influence of the Distortion Distribution on the Determination of Roentgenographic Particle Sizes and Distortions (I) Introduction and Calculation of Distortion Distributions

Abstract For a cylindrical crystallite with an axial edge dislocation the reentgenographic distortion distributions for the inserted half plane, respectively the glide plane in interference position are calculated. Both differ from each other essentially and also differ from a Gaussian distribution, respectively from the distrtion distributions of “simple” elastic distortion models, moreover they show a distinct depedency of the Fourier order.
