'Main Roads is committed to the protection of the environment by observing the Government's policy of Ecologically Sustainable Development.' Main Roads is developing an integrated process for continuous improvement of environmental performance in all phases of road project delivery. This process is designed to dovetail into existing and established delivery processes, and aims to satisfy engineering integrity and quality assurance requirements whilst ensuring efficient business management. The integration of this process will be demonstrated by means of a case study, namely: Impact Assessment Study: Maroochydore Road Upgrade (Bruce Highway-Jones Road).'
