Abstract

Exploiting the asymmetry between electrons and muons in the final states of two lepton-flavor violating Higgs decays in the leptonic \ensuremath{\tau} decay channel, a new method to search for such decays is found, revealing a 3\ensuremath{\sigma} sensitivity for discovering the decays with the current LHC data sample at 8 TeV
