Abstract

ギムネマ酸の定量法を検討した結果,試料を1%KOH及びそれに続く0.5 N-HClで加水分解を行いgymnemageninへ変換し, HPLCで定量する方法を確立した.この定量値をギムネマ酸の中で主要な成分であるgymnemic acid II量に換算して総ギムネマ酸量として表した.また本手法によりインド産のギムネマ・シルベスタ葉および国内で市販されているエキス粉末について総ギムネマ酸含量を測定した.
