Cu¹⁺-haltige Doppeloxide mit seltenen Erdmetallen¹

Cu 2 O reacts with La 2 O 3 , Nd 2 O 3 , Sm 2 O 3 and Eu 2 O 3 to form double oxides Cu(RE)O 2 with the rhombohedral NaHF 2 structure. The interatomic distances for CuLaO 2 are given. For the NaHF 2 -type compounds Cu 1+ Me 3+ O 2 (Me 3+ = Al, Cr, Ga, Mn, Fe, Co, Rh as well as La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu) an increase of the lattice parameter a (hexagonal orientation) with increasing size of Me 3+ is observed, while the changes of c are only small. Oxides Cu 1+ (RE)O 2 with (RE) 3+ ions smaller than Eu 3+ and with Y 3+ or In 3+ could not be obtained. The preparation of the corresponding silver compounds Ag 1+ (RE)O 2 was also not successful.
