Integrated nr Database in Protein Annotation System and Its Localization

Comparing the nr database with the IPI database by using NCBI blastp program to align human protein sequences,this paper provides an evidence of necessity of integrating the nr database in the protein annotation system.Then it localizes the nr database,provides its statistical information and local service,gets the annotation information source ready for the protein annotation system.
