Analysis on flow field characteristics of direct air cooling unit based on computational fluid dynamics software

Aiming at the larger influence of the environment factors on the direct air cooled unit,taking the 300 MW direct air cooled unit of a power plant as an example,using the numerical simulation method,the computational model of the air cooled condenser unit was established.And further,the law of the influence of environmental factors on the flow field of condenser unit was found.The relation between the heat transfer efficiency of the air cooled condenser and the environmental factors was studied quantitatively.The result in this paper can provide numerical reference for optimized design and economical and safe operation of the condenser.
