Abstract

Preliminary data from the 1986 National Mortality Followback Survey for mortality from heart diseases in the United States are analyzed. Data on the sociodemographic and economic characteristics health care and costs and health status of persons who died from diseases of heart in 1986 are presented in this report. (EXCERPT)
