[Peritoneal reactions to hydrogen peroxide in the rat].

Hydrogen peroxide, when injected in diluted isotonic solution in the peritoneal cavity of the rat, provokes an increase of the local vascular permeability. Histamine plays a minor role in the development of these lesions.
