Abstract

A method is described to synthesize a novel magnetic nano-sorbent <italic>via</italic> surface modification and protection of nano-zerovalent iron (NZVI) with 3-aminopropyl trimethoxysilane for the formation of NZVI-NH<sub>2</sub>.
