Effective adsorption of Pd(<scp>ii</scp>), Pt(<scp>iv</scp>) and Au(<scp>iii</scp>) by Zr(<scp>iv</scp>)-based metal–organic frameworks from strongly acidic solutions

Zr-based MOFs effectively sorb Pd(<sc>ii</sc>), Pt(<sc>iv</sc>) and Au(<sc>iii</sc>) from highly acidic solutions through inner-sphere complexation and electrostatic interaction.
