1027: Tumor Percentage of Prostatectomy Specimens is an Independent Risk Factor for Biochemical Recurrence and Negative Clinicopathological Variables

RESULTS: Overall, 67 of 274 (24.5%) of patients met the preoperative criteria for "insignificant" cancer; whereas, only 7 of 274 (2.6%) radical prostatectomy specimens fulfilled the criteria for "insignificant" cancer. The preoperative model to predict "insignificant" cancer approached statistical significance (p=0.06), and was associated with 57% sensitivity, 76% specificity, 6% positive predictive value, and 99% negative predictive value.
