Abstract

Acute flaccid myelitis (AFM) related to Enterovirus seroforms has no cure and reflects the same clinical course as noted previously by Polio, which happens to be a species of the same viral family. No consensus exists on the treatment modality for this disease process. Here we present two of the first cases in Columbia, South Carolina and their clinical course, approach and outcomes.
