Nucleon-<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mi>α</mml:mi></mml:math> scattering and resonances in <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mmultiscripts><mml:mi>He</mml:mi><mml:mprescripts/><mml:none/><mml:mn>5</mml:mn></mml:mmultiscripts></mml:math> and <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mmultiscripts><mml:mi>Li</mml:mi><mml:mprescripts/><mml:none/><mml:mn>5</mml:mn></mml:mmultiscripts></mml:math> with JISP16 and Daejeon16 <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mi mathvariant="italic">NN</mml:mi></mml:math> interactions

The approach called the single-state harmonic oscillator representation of scattering equations (SS-HORSE) to analyze resonant states is generalized to the case of charged particle scattering by using the analytical properties of partial scattering amplitudes and is applied to the study of resonant states in the $^{5}\mathrm{Li}$ nucleus and nonresonant $s$-wave proton-$\ensuremath{\alpha}$ scattering within the no-core shell model using the JISP16 and Daejeon16 $NN$ interactions. We present also the results of calculations of neutron-$\ensuremath{\alpha}$ scattering and resonances in the $^{5}\mathrm{He}$ nucleus with Daejeon16 and compare with results published previously using JISP16.
