Current state and prospects of development of medical insurance in Ukraine

The article defi nes the main problems of the development of medical insurance in Ukraine. The author examines the availability of health insurance for th e population, the state of the industry reforming. Measures for state departments and private insurance companies, which will promote expansion of the sphere of medical insurance in Ukraine, are proposed.
