Abstract

The performance of a scalable, compact, Q-Switched CO<sub>2</sub> laser system operating at λ= 9.3μm that is capable of producing over 100 Watts of average power, sub-microsecond pulses with peak powers greater than 10kW and repetition rates as high as 200 kHz is described along with critical design details.
