Ni/Ni₃C core–shell nanoparticles encapsulated in N-doped bamboo-like carbon nanotubes towards efficient overall water splitting

A novel electrocatalyst of Ni/Ni₃C core–shell nanoparticles embedded in bamboo-like N-doped carbon nanotubes has been successfully synthesized, which exhibits superior overall water splitting performance in alkaline solution.
