The influence of entomophages on the dynamics of the number and harmfulness of grass aphids during different tillage

The influence of soil treatments of various intensity on the number of grass aphids, as one of the most common pests with piercing-sucking mouth apparatus, is considered. The dynamics of numbers and trophic relationships of entomophages – predators and parasites of the grass aphid – are highlighted. A decrease in the number of grass aphids under the influence of entomophages capable of reducing the harmfulness of phytophages to an equilibrium level and obtaining good wheat yields without the use of insecticides is shown. The degree of harmfulness of aphids was revealed depending on the tillage, activity of entomophages and compensatory ability of wheat.
