The paper titled "European policies on research in education. A theoretical approach." analyses in detail European processes and policies in the field of education, with emphasis on programs developed and implemented at European Union level. We will also make correlations between the educational environment and the labor market. It also sought to implement the Bologna Process in the Member States of the European Union, illustrating the effects of these very different socio-political and historical contexts on the EU standardization process.
