Abstract

Using the data sample of $711\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(4S)$ on-resonance data taken by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy electron-positron collider, we present the first measurements of branching fractions of the decays ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{'}0}$, ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}_{c}(2645{)}^{0}$, and ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}_{c}(2790{)}^{0}$. The signal yields for these decays are extracted from the recoil mass spectrum of the system recoiling against ${\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ baryons in selected ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ candidates. The branching fraction of ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}_{c}(2790{)}^{0}$ is measured to be $(1.1\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.4\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.2)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The 90% credibility level upper limits on $\mathcal{B}({B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{'}0})$ and $\mathcal{B}({B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}_{c}(2645{)}^{0})$ are determined to be $6.5\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$ and $7.9\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, respectively.
