Enhancing Traceability in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain using Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain

This paper proposes an approach to enhance traceability in Pharma supply chain using Internet of Things (IoT) edge devices and Blockchain. Traditional supply chain systems have gaps exploited by anti-social elements to distribute counterfeit medicines and devices. Blockchain ensures source to consumer traceability and tracking which helps to improve efficiency in the industry by ensuring consumer protection, building trust and improving quality of service.
