Fabrication of layered double hydroxide microcapsules mediated by cerium doping in metal–organic frameworks for boosting water splitting

A one-step synthesis has been developed to fabricate layered double hydroxide microcapsules <italic>via</italic> a Ce-doping strategy in metal–organic frameworks.
