The focus of the study was to assess the factors influencing electronic revenue collection in public sectors in Tanzania using Government e-payment Gateway (GePG). In order to fulfil that objective, hypotheses were formulated based on the factors that influence electronic revenue collection in Tanzania Public sectors using GePG system. The study adopted a quantitative approach whereby secondary data were generated from GePG system collection center at Kilimanjaro Airports Development Company (KADCO) headquarters at KIA, Kilimanjaro Region. After using multiple regressions, the findings revealed that landing fee, sales concession, VIP lounge hire and passengers service charges can together influence the electronic revenue collection at KADCO using GePG system. This study recommended that awareness to users of GePG should be instituted to increase usage rate of GePG system. Furthermore, cost of executing transactions should be reviewed and not to become the burden for one who is paying for services. Also, the e-Government and other Government entity which are entrusted for smooth running of the system should make sure that the system is stable to enhance reliability. The study has a duration of twelve (12) observations that is from October 2018 to September 2019. However, the study recommended more research to be carried in future where the number of observation will be more available as compared to now, reason being that the system has recently introduced into operations. The results validated the findings as it was revealed that there was a significant relationship between electronic revenue collection (dependent variable) and independent variables which are landing & parking fee, sales concession, VIP lounge hire and passengers’ service fee. Data was tested for stationarity at levels where they were not stationary, and at first difference where they became stationary by using Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF). Meanwhile there was no serial correlation among variables, no any omitted variables, there was constant variance and residuals were normally distributed. The study recommended for further research that will come up with an in depth analysis of the variables as time goes on where the large number of observation will be available to incorporate the findings for better analysis and output. These call for policies to be instituted which will create conducive operating environment, encouraging clients of KADCO and embrace on an entrepreneurial culture that leads to greater understanding of opportunities offered by GePG system and improve technological usage for Government business undertakings.
