Abstract

Extensive tests of prototype modules of the BaBar Silicon Vertex Tracker were performed at CERN on a test beam. Results are reported on charge collection properties, signal to noise ratios and space resolution as a function of the incidence angles of the incoming particles, for several detector configurations.
