Our findings suggest that certain T2DM patients can potentially benefit from FMT, and the pretreated abundance of <i>Rikenellaceae</i> and <i>Anaerotruncus</i> in the fecal of patients may serve as potential biomarkers for selecting T2DM patients to receive FMT.
