Mathematical Analysis and Assessing Video Games' Competitive Structures in Terms of Nonzero Sumness

Nonzero sumness is widely observed in cooperative video games. This paper assesses the video games' competitive structures in terms of nonzero sumness first. To analyse how the real-life imitations of the identified competitive structures, five non-zero cooperative interactions between groups are examined. It concludes that there can be an overall broader sharing of social benefits from the blended style of gaming if a win-win outcome can be achieved.
