STAT: A fast, scalable, MinHash-based k-mer tool to assess Sequence Read Archive next generation sequence submissions.

This contains three different packages reported in our Genome Biology article. STATGenomeBiology.tar.gz - a very large package that contains all source and data files required for reproducing the accuracy test results reported in our article. <em>aligns_to</em> binary - this is a pre-compiled binary of aligns_to (with NGS support so SRA accessions can be used) compiled on a CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 host. STATGitHub.tar.gz - this contains the GitHub repo/branch ngs-tools/tax noted in the paper - see the <em>README.md</em> file (once unpacked) at <em>ngs-tools/tools/tax/, </em> and the two files<em> build.sh </em>and <em>quickbuild.sh</em> in the same location.
