Research on Tower Structure Optimization of Overhead Transmission Line

In order to implement the concept of energy saving, environmental protection and efficient green construction, this paper designs and plans the tower type, and optimizes the tower structure from many aspects, including the analysis and selection of tower type, the optimization of tower mouth width and tower slope, the optimization of tower inclined material layout, the optimization of diaphragm setting, and the optimization of long and short legs, so as to fully improve the economy and safety of transmission line towers. At the same time, this paper takes the 66kV four-circuit and six-circuit transmission lines on the same tower in a certain area of Liaoning Province as an example. The actual project shows that the optimized 66kV six-circuit on the same tower can save 45 % investment compared with three double-circuit lines on the same tower, and reduce the relocation cost of the line corridor by 210 million yuan. The optimized tower has the characteristics of energy saving and environmental protection, reducing land occupation, convenient construction and saving investment, which provides some experience and reference for the optimization design of tower structure of overhead transmission lines in the future.
