Optimal Topology of LVAC in a Rural Village Using Water Cycle Algorithm

The goal of this work is to create and compare the AC low voltage (LVAC) topology using various algorithms. In the first phase, the shortest path (SP) algorithm is used to find the minimizing conductor usage. Repeated ABC phase sequence (RPS ABC) is the based case while GA, and WCA are used in the second stage to figure out load balancing in a three-phase LVAC topology. The distribution network topologies are automatically displayed for different phase connections of the distribution network. To evaluate the proposed strategies, the 129-buses distribution test network in a Cambodian rural community was chosen as a case study. Then, after a comparison of all these methodologies, it is possible to infer that the WCA leads to the best solutions.
