Control Strategy of Electric Vehicle Participating in Power Grid Peak Regulation Based on V2G

The separate developments of electric cars and smart grids have brought them closer together. A large number of electric vehicles with V2G function, as mobile energy storage equipment, are connected to the power grid in an orderly manner, and have potential functions such as participating in the peak-frequency modulation of the power grid, acting as emergency power supply, and suppressing the disturbance of clean energy access. The disorderly intervention of electric vehicles in the power grid will inevitably cause interference to the stable operation of the power grid. In order to solve this problem, combined with the connection between the end of the power grid and electric cars, a peak regulating model based on support vector machine regression was constructed, and the parameters in the model were optimized by particle swarm optimization algorithm. The effectiveness of the model is verified through simulation examples. The application of the control strategy not only eliminates the disturbance of the electric cars to the power grid, but also realizes the “peak clipping and valley filling” of the power grid active load.
