Bio-hybrid robots: Higher plants as control elements of robotic systems

Bio-hybrid robots represent a new type of robotic system that combines biological elements andmachine technology. In this study, I focused on the question of whether plants can be rationalusers of robotic platforms. I demonstrated that plants have the ability to control a robotic chassisand use it to satisfy their needs. In the paper, I described my approach to researching andimplementing a bio-hybrid robot that shows plants as capable of being rational users of thistechnology. I showed that my method allows plants to take control of the robot and use it toperform tasks in both familiar and unfamiliar environments. The results of my work bring newpossibilities in the field of robotic systems and artificial intelligence, and can find application inindustries or further research.
