Experiments to support the improvement of the integrity and resistance of the bus bodywork in a rollover accident

The article provides an overview of mechanical tests carried out at the Regional Institute of Technology, a research center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, in cooperation with other organizations. They aimed to obtain input data for the computational simulation of bus overturns according to prescribed standards and experimentally validate these calculations.
