Creating wild children: An ‘Outstanding’ result for first Wildlife Trust outdoor nursery

Essex Wildlife Trust opened the first Wildlife Trust nursery in the country back in October 2021. As they celebrate their second birthday this month, Lauren Cosson, communications officer for Essex Wildlife Trust, provides an update on the innovative setting. She looks back over the last two years at what has been learnt and achieved along the way, and shares tips for helping children connect with nature in every early years settings.
